Ivory COnsignment FAQ

How many items can I sell? You may consign a total of 100 items, with a maximum of 50 hanging items.
What are the fees to sell? The fee to register is $15.
How much money can I make? You'll make 60% on your items that sell. You make make more if you Volunteer during the event.
How do I get paid? Your sales earnings will be mailed to you via check within one (1) week of the end of the event.
What are the benefits of the computerized tagging system? Your pricing and tagging process will go much smoother. Payment for your sales will be ready sooner. You can access reports on MyCM to see what and how much you've sold during the event. Your consignor number remains the same for all future sales and you may leave unsold items tagged for the next sale.
Do I need to stay with my items during the event? Nope! You drop off your items, and we take care of everything else.
What can I sell? You may consign clothing, accessories, shoes, and handbags. We want our shoppers to know they will have quality merchandise to shop during our sale. Please do not be offended if we do not accept something due to stains or wear. Learn more on our Accepted Items and Brands pages.
What happens to my stuff that doesn't sell? When you tag your items, you will designate whether you want to pick up or donate your unsold merchandise. If you choose to donate your items, your items will become property of Ivory Consignment, and we’ll take care of bringing them to a local charity. If you want to pick up your unsold items, you must come during the scheduled pick-up time to retrieve them. Anything left after that time will be donated. We cannot make exceptions to this schedule, as we have to vacate the sale site promptly.

When is the Ivory Consignment event? The event will take place from Wednesday, March 22 through Sunday, March 26. Visit our Event Timeline page for specific dates.
How do I shop the event? If you want the best deals, line up early! Check dates and times on our Shop page. There is no entry fee for shoppers.
When is the 50% off discount sale? The 50% off sale will be Saturday, March 25 starting at 3:00 p.m. All items (unless marked No Discount) are half-off!
How do I volunteer? Consignors can log in to their MyCM account here to register for volunteer shifts.
What are the benefits of volunteering?

Do volunteers get to shop early? Yes! Our volunteers shop earlier than our consignors. Learn more about that timeline here.
I signed up to volunteer, but now I can't make it. You can have a friend or family member work in your place. If you fail to show up or cancel without 24 hours notice, your sales earnings will be decreased to 50%. Volunteers must be on time and fulfill their entire shift to receive their earnings.
What exactly will I be doing? You could be helping out with Event Set Up, Dressing Rooms, Floor Watch or Organization, Consignor Pick Up, or Event Tear Down. You'll learn more about your specific duties when you show up for your shift.
